ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation will be aboard the Ghan Railway and various locations visited throughout the journey. The accommodation on the ghan includes:
- Well appointed day and overnight sleeper accommodation
- Choose from an elegant twin or single sleeper cabin
- Twin Cabins feature 3 seater lounge converting to upper and lower sleeping berths plus ensuite facilities with toilet, washbasin and shower
- Single Cabins feature a lounge chair converting to single sleeping berth with communal shower and toilet facilities located at the end of each carriage
- Cabins feature 3 pin/ 240 volt power point, wardrobe, full length mirror, reading light, foldaway table
- Complimentary toiletry bags and onboard magazine provided in all Gold Service cabins
EARLY BIRD BONUS
The first 24 people to book will receive accommodation in unique & opulent private carriages, including The Prince of Wales Car that was originally built in 1919 to accommodate a visit from Edward, Prince of Wales in 1920. The carriage maintains the original features including Wunderlich pressed metal, Australian timber, wood carvings and full-length cathedral glass in the doors.
